Club History

Founded as Broxbourne Ladies in 1985, the club was granted permission to use the Tottenham name in 1991. They earned WSL promotion in 2018-19 by finishing second in the Women's Championship and have remained in the top flight for six consecutive seasons.

The team plays home matches at Brisbane Road in Leyton (capacity 9,271), with selected fixtures held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. England international Bethany England serves as captain.

Martin Ho's Transformation

After Robert Vilahamn was sacked following an 11th-place finish, Martin Ho was appointed in July 2025 from Norwegian side SK Brann, where he had guided the team to the Champions League quarter-finals. The 35-year-old has transformed Spurs from relegation candidates into European qualification contenders.

His blend of attacking intent and defensive discipline has been described as "passion and obsession" that changed the club's trajectory. He signed a long-term contract extension in March 2026.
