TEAM STORY

Sébastien Migné's (French) Haiti announced their final 26 on May 15. This is Haiti's first World Cup in 52 years (since West Germany 1974) — and the second-ever. 38-year-old captain Johny Placide (Bastia) leads a historic squad.

Backbone: all-time top scorer Duckens Nazon (Esteghlal, 44 goals) + Frantzdy Pierrot (Çaykur Rizespor, 33 goals) + Jean-Ricner Bellegarde (Wolverhampton). A hybrid of French-developed talents (Bellegarde, Duverne, Expérience) and MLS/USL players (Etienne Jr., Jean Jacques, Sainté, Lacroix).

Group C opponents: Scotland, Brazil, Morocco. June 13 vs Scotland → June 19 vs Brazil → June 24 vs Morocco. A first World Cup win since 1974 is the realistic target.

PREDICTED XI

LIKELY 4-3-3.

Migné's preferred 4-3-3. Nazon (all-time top scorer with 44 goals) leads with Pierrot and Bellegarde flanking. Sainté anchors with Jean Jacques and Leverton Pierre as 8s. CBs: Adé and Duverne.

4-3-3 (predicted)
